What you’ll need:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell peppers

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon tabasco
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 11/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

In a large skillet, saute onions, garlic and bell peppers in olive oil over medium heat until onions are translucent. Add ground turkey and cook until browned. If using leftover turkey cook till edges start to brown. Make sure not to fry turkey to a crisp.
