David Lee Roth vs Sammy Hagar

Old topic and not one I spend any time or energy on because David Lee Roth is the voice of VH. On 6/19/2002 the DLR & Sammy Hagar tour lasted long enough to play in Denver at Fiddler’s Green.

It was a crappy rainy day but it was a good show. David Lee Roth seemed back in his element on the big stages and going back to rock n roll roots as opposed to the Vegasy thing he tried in the late 90’s.

I have to admit though that Sammy was damn good. I never minded the VH songs that I heard on the radio but hearing them live made me realize just how good they really are.  I was never a Sammy hater but I had a new found respect for him after seeing that concert.
